Job Description for Kitchen Cooks
Position: Kitchen Cook
Reports To: Kitchen In-Charge
Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation and Cooking
o Follow recipes and cooking procedures as directed.
o Prepare ingredients and cook dishes to the required standards.
2. Hygiene and Safety
o Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
o Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
3. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
o Perform kitchen opening and closing duties according to SOP.
o Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.
4. Team Collaboration
o Assist other kitchen staff as needed.
o Communicate effectively with the Kitchen In-Charge and team members.
5. Quality Control
o Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality.
o Report any issues or discrepancies to the Kitchen In-Charge.
Requirements:
• Prior experience in a kitchen or culinary setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
